Once you’ve completed the check-in formalities, your holiday can begin at our 4-star campsite, featuring a heated swimming pool and nestled in a lush green setting. Our reception area is located at the entrance to the campsite. Here, you’ll find all the information you need for an enjoyable stay in Arès: tourist brochures, the programme of local events and campsite activities, as well as equipment available to borrow or rent.

Bicycle rental on the Arcachon Basin
For a holiday that combines nature, relaxation and freedom, what could be better than discovering the surrounding area by bike? At Flower Camping La Canadienne, we offer on-site bike hire, so you can explore the wonders of the Bassin d’Arcachon with ease.
Bikes for all the family
We have bikes to suit every need:
- Adult bike: Perfect for your outings and excursions, available at €14 per day.
- Electric bike: Ideal for covering longer distances effortlessly, for €35 a day.
- Child’s bike/follower/trailer: Younger children can also enjoy the joys of cycling for €10 a day.
- Baby seat: Carry your little ones in complete safety for an extra €3 per day.
- Helmets, locks and baskets: provided free of charge.
There is a sliding scale of charges for several days’ hire.
Discover magnificent landscapes and unmissable activities. Just a few minutes from the campsite, the Cap Ferret peninsula offers an exceptional setting between the ocean and the lake. Stop off at the village of l’Herbe, famous for its oyster huts and its oyster tastings overlooking the water.
Nature lovers will love the Prés Salés d’Arès-Lège nature reserve, an unspoilt area ideal for a peaceful stroll. Take the Vélodyssée, which runs through the region alongside the pine forests, or reach the famous Dune du Pilat, the highest in Europe, for a breathtaking panorama.

Restaurant – snack bar – food truck
For a bite to eat, head to the food service area. From early June to late September, you’ll find either a restaurant or a food truck on site. During the high season, they are open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Breakfast, lunch on the terrace, an afternoon treat or dinner? Come and enjoy a delicious meal!
Breakfast
Wake up gently with our new breakfast service. Whether you’re staying in a mobile home or on a pitch, enjoy fresh pastries and local products to start your day the right way. Order your gourmet breakfast basket from €10 and let yourself be delighted by the quality and freshness of our morning treats.
Grocery corner and bread depot
Throughout the season, enjoy bread and pastries baked on site by our restaurateur. Located in the catering area, the emergency grocery corner allows you to make all your basic purchases. As for the reception deskyou’ll find local specialities from the Arcachon basin and Flower Campings merchandise (Dino plush, water bottles, bowls, caps, towels…).
Laundry
Dear campers, your comfort is one of our priorities! So take advantage of the various services available in our sanitary block. A launderetteis available throughout your camping holiday near Arcachon to take care of your laundry. You’ll find washing machines (€5), a coin-operated tumble dryer (€4) and washing tablets (€1) available at reception or in the sanitary block.
For our campers
Camper friends, welcome to La Canadienne on the Bay of Arcachon. In addition to sanitary facilities with laundry, shower, sinks and toilets, you’ll find a host of services dedicated to you. Gourmets will be delighted to be able to organize large grilling sessions thanks to our collective charcoal barbecues within the campsite.
We lend extension leads and electrical adapters against a deposit to make it easier to connect your equipment. Travel light and rent a compact refrigerator for €7 per night (subject to availability).
We recommend that our camping guests book in advance, either by phone or through our website, as pitches fill up quickly!
