Coming to the campsite
To get to Camping La Canadienne, a 4-star family campsite on the Arcachon Basin with heated swimming pool, you have several transport options: by car, plane or train. Here’s a detailed itinerary to get you there.
By car
From Bordeaux, head northwest on the N230, then follow the A630 towards Mérignac. Then take exit 10 towards Le Verdon/Lacanau and continue on the N215. Follow signs for Lège-Cap-Ferret on the D106. Continue on the D106 to Arès, then turn right onto Rue du Général de Gaulle. The campsite is at number 82 on this street.
By Plane
From Bordeaux-Mérignac airport, head northwest on the A630. Follow the signs for exit 10 towards Le Verdon/Lacanau on the N215. Then take the D106 towards Lège-Cap-Ferret. Continue on the D106 to Arès and turn right onto Rue du Général de Gaulle. The campsite is located at number 82.
By Train
From Bordeaux-Saint-Jean station, take a TER train toArcachon. Get off at Facture-Biganos station. From there, take bus line 601 towards Lège-Cap-Ferret and get off at the “Arès” stop. From the bus stop, walk about 10 minutes in the direction of Rue du Général de Gaulle. The campsite is located at number 82 on this street.

Practical info
Camping La Canadienne is open from March 28 to September 28, 2025. All services are available during this period: heated swimming pool, children’s playground, bike rental, barbecues, bed linen and towels, bread deposit, sanitary facilities, restaurant and reception.
Reception hours :
- Low season: 9am – 12pm / 2pm – 5pm
- High season: 8:30am – 12:30pm / 1:30pm – 7pm
In case of late arrival, please inform us to organize your reception. Arrivals for rentals are after 4pm, departures before 10am; for bare pitches, arrivals after 12pm and departures before 12pm. In summer, take advantage of our entertainment program during the summer school vacations.
To ensure the peace and quiet of our guests, vehicle traffic is prohibited from 11pm to 7am. An entry and exit code is issued on arrival. For late-night arrivals, parking is available at the campsite entrance. A janitor is on duty to ensure security and compliance with the campsite rules and regulations during the night.
A deposit of 300€ is required for rentals and payment for the first night for pitches. On your departure, an inventory of fixtures will be made. More information is available in our general terms and conditions or on our My Flower application.
